Megan Kopman
Megan Kopman is Principal & a Founding Member of Ballast Realty Group and serves as the Supervising Broker for Ballast. Megan is a licensed Massachusetts Real Estate Broker and utilizes her extensive real estate expertise and local market knowledge to guide home Buyers and Sellers throughout the entire real estate process. Megan also represents Investors & Developers through each stage of a successful purchase or sale – from identifying target properties to "deal-appropriate" due diligence, financing, permitting & renovation or construction consulting.
Background Experience:
Prior to launching Ballast, Megan was a commercial real estate attorney at Goodwin Procter LLP where she represented R.E.I.Ts in the purchase of portfolio properties nationwide and lending entities in the placement of first mortgage financing, construction financing & mezzanine debt. Megan also represented national developers and joint venture partners in the acquisition, financing, development & disposition of all types of real estate assets. Megan graduated from Vanderbilt University & received her J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law.

Matthew Brooks
Matthew Brooks is a licensed Massachusetts Real Estate Sales Agent with Ballast. Since starting his career in real estate, Matthew has worked with Clients ranging from cross-country relocations to Bostonians relocating within the City. He believes in a “no-pressure” sales attitude and guides his Clients using his keen market knowledge and current statistical data. Matthew’s goal is to educate his Cients throughout the entire property-buying or selling process. This interaction and representation-style is key to maintaining each Client’s understanding of all of the relevant & critical details throughout the entire transaction with a knowledgeable, hands-on Agent representing their interests.

Suzanne Kim
Suzanne Kim is Ballast's Senior Real Estate Transaction Paralegal and Operations Manager. At Ballast, Suzanne manages all of the integral business operations that enable Ballast Agents to provide superior client service at every level of Ballast Buyer or Seller Client interaction. Actively involved in all Ballast transactions, Suzanne ensures that every Client’s purchase or sale stays on track and that every aspect of the Ballast Client’s experience exceeds Cllent expectations. Suzanne received her Bachelor of Arts degree at University of Washington and is currently in the process of obtaining her Juris Doctor at Suffolk University School of Law.
