Megan Kopman

Megan Kopman is Principal & a Founding Member of Ballast Realty Group and serves as the Supervising Broker for Ballast. Megan is a licensed Massachusetts Real Estate Broker and utilizes her extensive real estate expertise and local market knowledge to guide home Buyers and Sellers throughout the entire real estate process. Megan also represents Investors & Developers through each stage of a successful purchase or sale – from identifying target properties to "deal-appropriate" due diligence, financing, permitting & renovation or construction consulting. For FY2009, Megan was ranked Top 20 in the entire city of Boston in all property types for total sales volume - representing Boston Real Estate Buyers and Sellers in the successful purchase or sale of their homes or investment properties.
Background Experience:
Prior to launching Ballast, Megan was a commercial real estate attorney at Goodwin Procter LLP where she represented R.E.I.Ts in the purchase of portfolio properties nationwide and lending entities in the placement of first mortgage financing, construction financing & mezzanine debt. Megan also represented national developers and joint venture partners in the acquisition, financing, development & disposition of all types of real estate assets. Megan graduated from Vanderbilt University & received her J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law.

Kate Hazelton is a licensed Massachusetts Real Estate Broker whose extensive transactional & negotiating experience combined with her detailed knowledge of Boston make her a valuable asset to both her Buyer & Seller Clients. Originally from Boston, Kate has extensive knowledge of each Boston neighborhood. Having lived in many of Boston’s neighborhoods including Beacon Hill, Charlestown, & the North End, Kate has valuable insights into the particular charms that create each neighborhood’s unique identity. Prior to joining Ballast Realty, Kate was a transactional bond attorney at Mintz Levin in Boston, where she represented lenders, non-profits, & government agencies in debt-financing transactions.
Kate enjoys working with people, is dedicated to her Clients, and has a true appreciation of all that Boston offers to its residents - making her the ideal partner to navigate Boston’s real estate market with you. Brendan Campbell
Brendan Campbell is a Ballast Real Estate Specialist and a licensed Massachusetts real estate agent who joined Ballast in 2010. Over the past 3 years, he has represented Buyers and Sellers from Cape Cod to Salem. Brendan has an extensive knowledge of the local real estate market and is especially tuned in to what is going on in Downtown Boston, which include numerous luxury buildings as well as each specific neighborhood. Prior to joining Ballast, Brendan worked with his father in their real estate offices in Dorchester. Brendan is also a licensed Massachusetts Real Estate Appraiser in good standing. Since 2001, he has covered every neighborhood in Boston, Brookline and Cambridge. Brendan has a unique understanding of the lending industry and its rapidly changing guidelines and is able to offer both his Buyer and Seller clients keen, up-to-date advice to help avoid potential pitfalls in their transactions. Brendan's 10 years as a real estate appraiser, has been a great asset for both his Seller and Buyer clients, and has allowed him to gain valuable insight into real estate throughout Massachusetts, while remaining fully-versed on the pricing trends and market demands of the greater Boston neighborhoods. Brendan is a 2001 graduate of the University of Massachusetts-Boston, and is a veteran of the United States Army, with service in Afghanistan. With an excellent background in the nuances of pricing in each Boston neighborhood, Brendan offers easy-going, yet informed, efficient and full-service representation to both his Buyer and Seller Clients.

Suzanne Kim
Suzanne Kim is a licensed Massachusetts Real Estate Agent who joined Ballast in 2007. Suzanne has developed extensive knowledge of Boston's neighborhoods and various property type investment options. Suzanne came to Ballast with a wealth of experience in real estate and transactional contracts. Suzanne's knowledge, energy, work ethic, and attention to detail are a great asset to Ballast clients - helping them navigate the critical decisions of their property purchases or sales. Her genuine love of real estate and her focus on providing superior client service help build relationships based on trust and confidence. Suzanne received her B.A. from University of Washington and completed a year and a half of law school at Suffolk Law School.
